I have locked keys in my car and a child is inside — what do I do?
Our standard fixed price for a vehicle unlock service anywhere in Dubai is AED 200. This includes the non-destructive entry tools, the technician’s labour, and unlimited time on-scene if the door is unusually difficult to open. Premium European cars (S-Class, 7 Series, Bentley, and Porsche) are AED 300 due to the more sensitive trim and seals. Boot unlocks and broken key extractions are AED 250. No night, weekend or holiday surcharge.
Do I need to prove I own the car before you unlock it?
Yes, this is non-negotiable. You must show your Emirates ID and the Mulkiya (vehicle registration card) in your name or in the name of a family member who is physically present with their own Emirates ID. We have refused to unlock vehicles approximately 40 times since 2010, every time because ownership could not be verified. This protects you and other Dubai drivers from car theft.
How fast can a vehicle unlock service reach me in Dubai?
The average arrival across Dubai is 24 minutes. Within Al Quoz, Business Bay, Downtown, Marina and Jumeirah, typically 15–25 minutes. If a child or pet is locked inside with the engine off, the call is automatically escalated to priority despatch with a 15-minute target, the same AED 200 price, and no premium for the urgency.
Will you damage my car when unlocking it?
No. We use inflatable air wedges and long-reach rods, only ever slim-jims (which damage door regulators), never drilling, and never broken windows. In 4,200+ lockouts since 2010 we have replaced exactly two damaged weatherstrip seals, both documented and reimbursed in full. Every car is photographed before and after the unlock for your records.

My key fob isn't working. Can you help, or is it a lockout?
It is usually a dead fob battery, not a true lockout. The car cannot detect the key because the fob’s internal battery (typically a CR2032 or CR2025 coin cell) has died. We carry both common types on-board. AED 50 fixed for the battery replacement, and you are back in your car within minutes of our arrival.
