Desert recovery in Dubai isn’t a normal tow job — it’s an extraction, and an ordinary flat-bed truck can’t even reach a car stuck in soft dunes. We run a dedicated 4×4 recovery team with a winch, sand boards, kinetic recovery ropes and the right tyre-pressure know-how to pull you out cleanly — no damage to your vehicle, no hours lost in the heat. Whether you’re axle-deep at Big Red, stranded on a track near Al Qudra, or stuck at sunset with the family in the car, we’ll come and get you, 24 hours a day. From AED 400. Share your live GPS location and we’ll be on our way.

Why desert recovery is different from towing
On tarmac, recovery means loading a car onto a flat-bed. In the desert, the problem is the opposite — the car is stuck in the ground, and a heavy flat-bed truck would sink the moment it left the road. Pulling a bogged vehicle out the wrong way bends chassis points, rips off bumpers and recovery eyes, and can injure people if a strap snaps under shock load.
Proper desert recovery is about technique and the right kit:
4x4 recovery vehicle
A vehicle that can actually drive on sand to reach you.
A winch
For steep or deep extractions where pulling isn’t enough.
Sand boards / traction tracks
Placed under the wheels to float the car out.
Kinetic (snatch) ropes
Stretchy ropes that pull smoothly, anchored only to proper recovery points.
Tyre deflation & compressor
Dropping pressure to grip soft sand, then re-inflating before you drive home.
Shovel and trained crew
Our team knows the dunes and exactly how to dig out efficiently.
Desert recovery scenarios we handle
Bogged in soft sand — sunk to the axles after losing momentum on a dune
High-centred / beached — the chassis resting on sand with the wheels spinning free
Rolled or stranded after a dune run, needing careful righting and extraction.
Mechanical breakdown deep in the desert — we extract first, then tow to a garage.
Convoy left behind — a group went on and one car is stuck alone
Flat tyre or dead battery off-road — sorted on the spot where possible

Stuck in the desert? Do this while you wait (important)
Desert heat is the real danger — far more than the stuck car. Follow these steps:
Stay with your vehicle. It’s shade, it’s visible, and it’s far easier for us to find than a person walking. Do not set off on foot to find help.
Get out of the sun.Use the car’s shade or a sunshade; in summer, the interior can be hotter than outside, so judge which is safer.
Ration water and conserve energy.Avoid digging frantically in peak heat — it dehydrates you fast and rarely frees the car.
Mark your location.Send us a live GPS pin. Note any landmark — a lone tree, a track number, a pylon line.
Don’t keep spinning the wheels. It digs you in deeper and overheats the gearbox. Switch off and wait.
Lower your tyre pressure.Do this only if you have a gauge and a way to re-inflate — otherwise leave it for our crew.
Where we run desert recovery around Dubai
We cover Dubai’s main off-road and dune areas, dispatched from our Al Quoz hub:
Al Qudra & Lakes
Big Red (Al Hibab)
Lahbab / Lehbab
Al Faya / Fossil Rock
Margham dunes
Al Awir desert
Hatta mountain trails
Bab Al Shams / Sweihan corridor
A live WhatsApp GPS pin is essential. Because there are no street addresses in the desert, a live pin is the difference between us reaching you in one run and searching the dunes. Typical arrival is 40–90 minutes depending on how deep in you are and ground conditions; we give you an honest estimate on the call.

Desert recovery Dubai — FAQs
How much does desert recovery cost in Dubai?
Standard sand recovery is from AED 400. Deep or multi-stage extractions that need winching and digging are from AED 600, and an off-road breakdown that also needs towing out is from AED 650. Convoy or multiple-vehicle jobs are quoted. The price is confirmed before we set out, with no after-hours surcharge.
How long will you take to reach me in the desert?
Typically 40–90 minutes, depending on how deep in you are and the ground conditions. A live WhatsApp GPS pin is essential — there are no street addresses in the desert, and it lets us reach you in one run instead of searching.
Can you pull my car out without damaging it?
Yes — that’s the whole point of using a 4×4 crew with the right kit. We anchor only to rated recovery points, use kinetic ropes and sand boards to extract smoothly, and never hook to a bumper or tow ball. We also re-inflate your tyres before you drive home.
What should I do while I wait for desert recovery?
Stay with your vehicle, get out of the sun, ration water, and don’t walk off to find help — the car is shade and far easier to find. Send a GPS pin and stop spinning the wheels. If anyone is affected by the heat, tell us on the call.
Do you cover Big Red, Al Qudra and Hatta?
Yes — Big Red (Al Hibab), Al Qudra, Lahbab, Al Faya/Fossil Rock, Margham, Al Awir and the Hatta trails are all within our desert-recovery coverage from Al Quoz.
Are you available 24 hours, and are your operators licensed?
Yes — 24/7, including public holidays, no surcharge. Our operators are RTA-licensed and your vehicle is covered by transit insurance once recovered onto the road.
